Helping Hands = Tonga Feast

The beginning of this year some of us got to help our Tonga Community. It was a neat experience for us as we've never been to a Tongan feast. My son got hands on training with cooking multiple pigs and it was so much fun to help. 

Fai mai le tala, tele o lima e mama ai se avega. Fa'afetai mo lenei avanoa na matou maua e mafuta ai ma le tatou aiga Toga. Le aiga o Le Atua e tele. Enjoy our Tongan journey. Car Wash Season at SBAOG

Thank you to all our volunteers for your tireless efforts to help our ministry. Now that the weather has warmed up we will start having car washes to help raise funds. We've gone from yard sales to now starting car washes on our property to help raise funds for operating costs.  We thank all our kids and young adults who played a role in our day. Often, we wear several hats, are underappreciated and unpaid but we would not have it any other way. Love is the root that drives us to do what we do day in and day out. Love & Loss

As our church has experienced great loss at the start of 2022.... I remain consumed by God's love. As our church group prepares to go to Hawaii for SDC, I'm experiencing mixed emotions. But I wanted to pen my feelings to encourage my kin. G R I E F is real and it is different for each of us. I went through a time where I was angry and frustrated and I was expressing this to everyone BUT God. We tend to forget that although God is not a person, He is still the greatest listener. He hears your thoughts and feels your pain. He can handle what you are feeling if you give it to Him. Whether it be pain, anger, numbness, shock or sorrow. Pour your heart out to the Lord and allow peace to take the place of that hurt. Remember, He is T H E R E! L O S S is gain to a believer. Although their presence here among us will be greatly missed.
